 Candice Madey works with artists, estates, and cultural organizations to develop long-term initiatives that strengthen the market, context, and public visibility of artists' work. Her practice combines curatorial thinking, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of the contemporary international art ecosystem to shape historical narratives and advance ambitious cultural projects.

Candice founded and directed the Lower East Side gallery On Stellar Rays for a decade before establishing CANDICE MADEY, New York in 2020. Prior to founding On Stellar Rays, she worked in Client Advisory at Christie's and held positions at the Wexner Center for the Arts and the Akron Art Museum. She is a founding board member and Chief Financial Officer of River Valley Arts Collective.

Candice holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and Art History from The Ohio State University, and studied Art History at the Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France.
